Georgie's Memorial Stone

Georgie's Memorial Stone

This is exactly how Georgie looked like when he was younger.  Don't you think he's cute?  I kind of miss him now....

This is the life-sized porcelain pug figurine that hubby brought all the way back from Chatuchak Market in Bangkok during our trip there two years ago, we paid 850 baht for it if I remember correctly.

We buried Georgie's body in our front garden and a simple memorial garden will be created as we think it is a great way to honour our beloved pet's memory.  The porcelain pug figurine will serve as his memorial stone and place on top of his burial ground.

Today is the first week since he left us.  I like to think that he's enjoying his life more now that he's in dog's heaven, no suffering, no pains.. May his soul rest in peace..

In Loving Memory Of My Baby..

In Loving Memory Of
Georgie - The Pug
10 April 2002 - 01 November 2011
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To my baby... who closed his eyes this morning after his struggle with testicular cancer...
From the day we brought you home,
you filled our lives with joy that was beyond words,
We got you when you were only 3 months old,
You were more than just our pet,
You were our baby.
* * * * * *
We will always cherish,
The funny way you ran as you got older,
The way your muzzle turned grey,
The way your look expressed so much love,
How you listened and learned like such a good guy.
* * * * * *
What makes it hard to let you go,
During the last part of your journey,
As if knowing your time had come,
And as if wanted to spend more time with me,
You came knocking on my kitchen door every evening,
And your eyes looked so loved and contented,
When I patted you on your head and wished you sweet dreams.
I am so sorry for what had to happen,
Rest In Peace, G-Boy, My Sweet Heart..
You will be dearly missed by mommy, daddy and Ian boy..
~Mommy~
