A Splish Splash Birthday Bash

The above pictures were captured from our balcony.  A splash birthday party thrown by the parents for their 13 years old boy.  Children these days are so lucky, don't you think?... The party was held last Saturday morning and only ended at 6 in the evening.  The colourful tents on the right were set up with electronic games such as motor racing complete with car seats just like those that you see at the amusement parks.  Food was served in the tents on the left throughout the party.  No, we weren't invited to the party but our condo unit has got a clear view of the pool.  Music was blasting away in the backgound all day long with a MC and a clown to entertain the guests and to wrap it up, there were some water activities going on too.

Will you throw a similar extravaganza party for your kids?

You're right! Children these days are wayy luckier, I myself never had any pool birthday party.. haha ;D
But I bet it'll be lots of fun, despite the 'sun burnt' we'd get... =_=

Ya...kids today are so fortunate. I think I only had ONE party when I was a kid...and my mum made a cake which I cut and we all ate...and maybe there were sandwiches and I remember there were chocolates - the oval ones with nuts inside. Those days - kids seeing those would feel like they've found gold. Kids today would not even cast a second glance...

Indeed, children nowadays are so lucky. I guess nowadays children are very precious to their parents and parents are probably too busy working to be able to see and be with their children for as long as they actually wanted to. As for me, I never have a birthday party before. For my son, I also won't hold a birthday party for him, sufficient we whole family go out and makan big and with a favourite cake, satisfied already! :-D

Mum used to say, if we are healthy and happy together in 1 family, everyday also our birthday. No need to have grand celebrations.

If I could afford to, I would probably splurge for my kids' birthdays! I know, i know, some moms say simple celebration will do...as long as the kids happy sudah, la. Anyway, that's what I've been doing. But again, if budget permits me to make the celebrations and parties merrier, why not? :-)

Wah~! It's indeed an extravagant party! When I was young, my mom always held a birthday party for me, it normally a reward for good performance at school!^-^ Till now, I still remember those fun and valuable moments, therefore I enjoy holding Birthday Party for my beloved kids too! ;)

have a great weekend!

Not that I remember I had a party on my birthday before. This was really very luxury. The parents must be damn rich.

wow, what a grand birthday celebration. my grandest was when i turned 21 - a buffet dinner at home which was attended by friends and family. kids now have birthday parties at fast food joint, spa, art class and etc. hmm..i don't think i'll throw a grand one for my kid unless when she turns 18 or 21...hehehehe.
