Ye Ole Christmas Town @1 Utama
The X'mas town was still in building stages when we were there for Rapunzel movie two Fridays ago.
When we went back to check out school bags at Parkson today, the concourse of 1 Utama had been transformed into themed Christmas villages complete with stunning facades and festive decorations. Stalls line the town, selling all kinds of festive merchandise from Famous Amos cookies, Twinings afternoon tea and The Cocoa Trees chocolates to gifts from Lovely Lace, Living Plus and Marks & Spencer.
In the centre of the Christmas town square is an ice-skating pond, which doubles up as a stage for various shows and audio visual presentations.
The setup is almost like a scene out of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
I shall let the pictures do the talking.

The festive season is there in KL.. so nice... nothing over here in ipoh ... the atmosphere is not here yet..
Very nice decor and definitely have a very Crimassy feeling. Your boy looks so grown up in the pix, like a 9-10 yo boy :)
Wow, the decor in 1-Utama is so nice. In my town, no Christmas spirit and atmosphere at all.
Very nice, they go all the way to attract customers.
We went there too, it's magically fantastic, my girl loves the 'gel snow' so much and couldn't keep her hand away from it!>_<
