My Late Lunch
Nasi Sarawak with cucumber pickles
Cream Of Chicken Soup
Complimentary cup of Cappucino
A total of RM8.95 incl GST
This afternoon, after dropping off my boy at his school, I drove to Tesco Mutiara Damansara and parked my car there. As planned, I walked over to Alliance Bank in Ikano Power Centre to do my banking and then proceeded to Popular Bookshop to get some revision books for my boy. On my last stop to Tesco before heading home, I passed by Ikea and hey, why not go for a cup of complimentary cappucino at its restaurant since I have got to keep the Friends Card for another year after having paid the annual fees unintentionally.
The above was what I had for my late lunch this afternoon. I usually skip my lunch but what the heck, I can't be having my cup of cappucino on empty stomach, right? The soup was delicious with generous amount of celery, carrot, onions and chicken chunks. The nasi Sarawak was surprisingly yummilicious with a generous portion of chicken thigh without the drumstick. *Burps* Guess I will have to skip my dinner later. :P

What on earth is Nasi Sarawak? We do not have anything like that here? If it's ayam/daging masak hitam, then it is authentically Sarawak. But I have to say that it looks nice though...and the price seems pretty ok too!
suituapui: Haha.. so, there's no Nasi Sarawak larr? Guess this is some gimmick they come out with..;)
not expensive but now they have GST over there?
Just the machine lah - programmed to print like that, Claire... Some places they charge the 5%...even McDs and KFC, if I'm not mistaken. If hotels, ++...even worse! 5%+10%.... Cheap, also becomes expensive in the end. GST, where got 5%? Only 3%...and not implemented yet.
Hello, dropping by~
The nasi sarawak looks yummy! I always love rice ;)
Yummy but I guess this nasi sarawak certainly high in calorie.
aiyo...the prickles.....i love them. Nice to eat with nasi brayani.
A really good-for-value lunch!
oh such a delightful lunch. now i feel like having a cup of cappuccino :D
When i see the first picture, Nasi Sarawak, i was wondering what is Nasi Sarawak and how it taste, how come i don't aware there is nasi Sarawak? After i read STP comment, i laughed.
The rice look good. I bet you must be very full, rice with cream soup, tsk tsk tsk. Free Cappucino? I like!
I never go to the restaurant & eat every time I go Ikea. I think may try it one day :-)
Cheap for so many items. I wanted to go for RM9.90 set lunch just now, too bad it was closed. Will try again tomorrow.
