Clear Sky!

I woke up to a clear sky this morning! Yippeee!!  We had drizzles and gloomy skies for the past three days and I am relieved that today it's a brighter day.  My family home in Sandakan, Sabah was hit by flash flood last Saturday morning.  The waist high flood water damaged most of the furniture on the ground floor of our family home and one of my brother's car had to be sent to the workshop for engine overhaul!  I heard there were landslides everywhere and someone got killed.  What a disaster!

This is the first time in 30 years that my family home got hit by flood and it struck just few days before ushering into the year of rabbit.  That's the "tiger tail" of bad luck, Ba, Ma, Goh, sweep them away and may the year of the rabbit brings all of us prosperity, happiness and good health!

So, Goh (Bro), on a final note, that leaves you no choice but to renovate the house to welcome us home next month.. Hehehehe..

Home got hit by food is really not a joke, really have to do something to prevent the flood hitting again in future, otherwise lot of jobs during the flood and after the flood.

Oh dear! Sorry to hear about your brother's plight. Hope all o.k. now and all cleared in time for Chinese New Year. Here, it's been raining and raining and raining. Heard there's flooding in low-lying areas... Hope the weather improves and people can celebrate Chinese New Year in peace...
