The Joys of Spring @The Curve

I hardly set foot at shopping malls after school reopen as my CNY shopping is considered all done during the last Christmas sales over the long school holidays.  That explains why you can hardly see any post entries here on CNY decors and thus far this is the first one.  Hubby dropped me off at the roadside heading to The Street @The Curve while the boy and the old man went to Ikea and had their own feast there. While walking to meet up my bunch of girl friends for brunch, I snapped these photos along The Street @The Curve and at the centre court.

Themed The Joys of Spring, this year’s Chinese New Year campaign celebrates the popular symbols of spring.  Chinese paper-cuttings are hung throughout the mall incorporating the various Chinese zodiac signs as well as delicate oriental lanterns. The main highlight of these paper-cuttings is the zodiac sign of the Rabbit, which is known in Chinese culture as the wise and affectionate animal. Well-lit cherry blossom trees and oriental lanterns also add a delightful display of colours to enhance the celebrative ambience.

Less than 2 weeks to CNY, many are in CNY mood already. Have you got your CNY clothes ready?

Claire: CNY comes fast and will end fast too. How time flies!
