Awww... Sweet...
My boy brought back a box of homemade corn flake cookies from school today. It's a gift from his classmate, JC, the girl who clicks so well with him in school. You'll know what I mean if you've read my previous post entry, The Hercules.
Ian: Mommy, JC gave me a box of homemade cookies. Her mommy made the cookies herself.
Mommy: Wow! So sweet of her and her mom. Hmm... I think we should give her something in return. What should we give her?
Ian: Don't worry, mom. I have already thought of that. I will make her a "double leaver".
Mommy: Huh? What is a "double leaver"? *scratch head*
Ian: It's two leaves stapled together with an opening on top.
Mommy: What is that for???
Ian: To keep rubber (eraser) dust lo..
Mommy: Who taught you to make it?
Ian: I just thought of it today.
Looking back, why didn't I receive any cookies or handmade stuff from the boys when I was their age??? Awwww.... They are just so sweet..

This is the special chapter of his life.. a girl giving him a box of cookies.. you must tell him when he is older... dont let him forget it.. hehee..
Hayley: JC is a sweet and pretty girl with braided hair. :)
Claire: That's why I have this recorded down in my blog. That's the good part of having a blogger mommy, Hahaha...
They are indeed very sweet! Your boy Ian too, very thoughtful and innovative!
Only 7YO and already getting sweet gifts. He must be a really nice boy to get a girl to like him. And he's so creative to have created the double leaver container!
Ooooo...so romantic. Reminds me of the movie "S.W.A.L.K. (Melody)". Ya...he must be such a nice boy - usually, little girls hate all the boys as they're all like hantus.
Hahaha, I must agree with STP - When I was young I disliked boys because they were nasty and cheeky and always disturbed other girls and made them cried. Ian must be the exceptional one :)
I wonder how's that double leaver look like... No photo?
ahhh..very sweet indeed. next time he'll be buying lots of char kway teow for the girl's parents...hehehhehe
Muak.....both Ian and JC are so sweet.
So fast, you have got gift from Ian's girl friend for CNY. Potential to be a young MIL or young grandma. Wakakaka!
I think JC's mummy must be very sweet indeed. Probably her bake together with the girl and allow her to present to friends. Very nice. BTW, I think I need two double leavers for my kids. Hahaha. Happy CNY to you!
