Trolley Or Backpack?
Having his catered food at the school canteen
He is placed in one of the two elite classes (more hair pulling moments for the mommy) where the top 100 of the whole standard will be mixed and equally divided and that literally means they will have 50 pupils each in these two classes. Not too sure though if they will shrink the number of classes as the average size for each class in primary 1 was only 40-42 with 9 classes. The rest of the classes will be a mix of fairly strong and weaker pupils. It's good that they mix the students and not grouped according to academic performance for these classes where the stronger can help the weaker ones. And also many thanks to all of you who shared your views on class streaming in my previous post entry. I really appreciated it.
Back to the choice of school bag for next year, trolley bag or backpack + 1 handcarry bag? Hmmmm..

Backpack is not so good for his posture, will cause him to have hunch back later. This is my opinion.
I think those trolley bag are design to be 2 in 1 meaning can be a backpack as well? No matter what bags but most importantly must have a hand carry bag as well. To separate the loads.
erm if me i will prefer backpack. :)
trolley
My girl has been having lessons in the 2nd and 3rd floor since day 1 of school. It's really heavy to carry the trolley bag up the stairs. Her friends help her with the carrying.
Yan, mnhl, smallkucing: I agree but then a trolley bag with those wheels and whatnot will only add burden to the already heavy bag. Haiz. But definitely consider a hand carry bag to share the loads.
Carol: Me too but thinking of pressure on the shoulders and spine. Hey, so hard to decide. :(
Montessorimum: Really a chore having to carry up and down the stairs. Kids these days. *haiz*
My boy requested for a back pack after he move to upstairs.
I was also thinking of getting him a book strap but knowing my boy, I am afraid he might forget to take those books not in the bag.
I personally think the school itself has to improvise and provide locker for every students. I don't mind if they charged me for rental as long as my kids won't have to burden themselves with heavy load everyday.:)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi, thanks for visiting my blog :D
For my girl, I'll opt for trolley bag. She's considered small size and I notice she's having difficult time with backpack. But then again, it's depend on the location of the classroom. If it's situated on 2nd floor, maybe backpack would be a better choice.
Hmm, I think since his class will be at top floor next year, I would like to suggest backpack + a handcarry bag. Ian could always alleviate the load of his back pack to the handcarry bag. This is just my two cents idea.
IMO, backpack + handcarry bag. Hv to make sure the backpack isn't too heavy, gotta take care of his back. If use trolley bag, it'll be difficult to carry up to the 3rd floor.
