Indonesian Kek Lapis (Layer Cake)
I have been lazy, extremely lazy in keeping my blog updated lately. Not that I don't have topics to blog about, in fact I have loads of them, only that I have lost my momentum to blog, so it seems. This post is going to be a short one.
Hubby brought back 2 boxes of Indonesian Kek Lapis on his recent working trip to Indonesia. It costs him less than RM30 for one 1.2kg cake. Not too bad, huh?
I just had few slices of the cake to go along with my cuppa Nescafe and it was heavenly!! Not too sweet, exactly how I like it to be..
On a separate note, my boy will be having a date with his gf from his "old" school tomorrow, yes, you hear me right, old school. This week is the second week he goes to his new school and I can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that everything falls into place neatly and that he is comfortable with his new friends at school.
Just got back all his test papers from his former class teacher and he did great, having scored 95% in overall performance. Bravo, son! I shall blog and update more soon, stay tune..

Indonesian Kek Lapis is very nice. I tried before, but it was localy made. I regret for not buying any of them when I visitted Bandung a few years ago. Didn't know that you have changed Ian to a new school. Looking forwards for your update of the change.
